It was absolute cinema in the making at the Arnos Vale Stadium as Afghanistan stunned Australia in a heroic display. Riding high on a resolute batting display, the Afghans kept on fighting. It was Gulbadin Naib whose rock-solid four-fer left the Aussies stunned.
However, the post-match scenes have been doing ripples all across the globe and the fans simply cannot get enough of it. From Dwayne Bravo leaping in ecstasy to Rashid Khan joining his teammates in the dressing room first and the dugout, that was some spectacle to behold.
In the dressing room video, Naib is being carried and serenaded by the Afghanistan players in what seemed like a dance of absolute frenzy and the cricket fans simply couldn’t have enough of it.

The entire streets in Afghanistan filled up with people rubbing shoulders with each other in unreserved joy. A country that is rife with internal conflicts and several other issues has found a new dawn in cricket and everyone was together to celebrate their win at the grandest stage of all and against the most formidable foe.

In another video where the Afghan team were in the team bus, they danced to their heart’s content celebrating their bowling consultant, Bravo’s songs ‘Champion’ to the fullest. The dance was an exact replica of how Bravo pulled it off himself.
The entire world was left speechless after Afghanistan rocked Australia in their Super Eight fixture. Batting first Afghanistan totted up 148/6. Rahmanullah Gurbaz (60) and Ibrahim Zadran (51) were the spine of the Afghan batting. Pat Cummins did claim a second hattrick but that wasn’t enough to stop the Afghans.
Glenn Maxwell led the charge for Australia with a brilliant 59 but the other Aussie batters could barely brave the supremacy of Gulbadin Naib who claimed a four-fer to craft history at the grandest stage of all, the T20 World Cup.
