India and South Africa are going head-to-head in the third Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup 2026, taking place in Ahmedabad. South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first, but that choice quickly backfired as they lost three wickets during the powerplay. Miller and Stubbs Ignite South Africa’s Comeback

David Miller and Tristan Stubbs really turned things around with an impressive comeback. Miller was on fire, racking up 63 runs off just 35 balls, which included seven boundaries and three sixes. His aggressive style brought the much-needed energy back into South Africa’s innings after a rocky start.

On the other hand, Tristan Stubbs played a fantastic supporting role, finishing with a quick 44 not out from 24 balls, featuring three sixes. Dewald Brevis also made a significant contribution, scoring 45 runs off 29 balls, helping South Africa wrap up their innings on a high note.

When it came to bowling for India, Jasprit Bumrah stood out with remarkable figures, taking three wickets for just 15 runs, while Arshdeep Singh grabbed two crucial wickets, giving away 28 runs in his four overs.

Varun Chakravarthy had a tough day, leaking 47 runs in his four overs. Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar bowled well at times, but the late surge from South Africa’s lower order, especially Stubbs, pushed the team to a total of 187, setting a challenging target for India.
