The crowd at the Dubai International Stadium on September 28, wasn't cordial at all. An already defeated Pakistan was not only denied by Indians, but the crowd booed every Pakistani player while they were given the Runners Up memento.
Notably, unlike the rest of the days, the Dubai Stadium was packed and was heavy towards the blue side. When it seemed that Rauf would be targeted, the entire team was booed by the crowd.

Notably, Rauf had triggered the Indian fans and BCCi by mocking Op Sindoor during the Super Four clash against India. He was even fined 30% of his match fee. Later, during the final, he was mocked again by Jasprit Bumrah, who bowled out Rauf in the first innings.

Meanwhile, the post-match presentation in the final match was packed with dramas. It took almost an hour to get to the stage, followed by a long negotiation between the Indian team and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. While Naqvi was adamant about presenting the trophy to the Indian side, India was stubborn with their stand, leading to Naqvi leaving the field, that too with the trophy.
Well, this was India's 9th Asia Cup win; however, it was the first against Pakistan in this tournament since its inception. Pakistan had a great start in both halves but choked at the end, mostly due to clueless captaincy.
Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan, who was in form, gave a good start, scored 57 runs off 38 balls, and had an 84-run partnership with his opening partner, Fakhar Zaman. Farhan's innings had 5 fours and 3 sixes, while Zaman scored 46 runs, including 2 boundaries and an equal number of sixes. However, after Farhan's dismissal, only Saim Ayub (14) could manage a double-digit score.
Kuldeep Yadav starred again with 4 wickets. Varun Chakravarthy took the two openers. Axar Patel bagged 2, while Jasprit Bumrah cleared the tailenders. Pakistan was all out for 146.
Coming to chase, Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill retreated quickly. Tilak Varma (69*) held the other side while Sanju Samson (24) and Shivam Dube (33) played their part. Rinku Singh finished the game with his only ball in his tournament, with a four.
