The 'ALCS MVPs' quiz

Heading into the 2025 MLB playoffs, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Toronto Blue Jays had a reputation for not performing in the postseason. Vladdy Jr. and company have shattered that narrative by beating the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners en route to their first World Series berth since 1993, where they face the defending-champion Los Angeles Dodgers.

Guerrero Jr. signed a 14-year, $500 million contract with the Blue Jays in April, and just one season into his mammoth deal he is four wins away from delivering Toronto their first championship in more than 30 years. He’s been a menace to pitchers in the playoffs especially, batting .442 with six home runs and 12 RBIs in 11 games.

Three of his home runs came against the Seattle Mariners in the American League Championship Series to go with 10 hits and four walks to just two strikeouts to earn ALCS MVP honors.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the ALCS MVPs since the award was first given out in 1980 can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
