The precise reason behind the fight is not yet disclosed, although the atmosphere at the stadium could have turned sour given the struggles of the Lucknow Super Giants in their match against Rajasthan Royals.
The game on the ground proved to be a complete domination by the Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants which finished up in a 40-run defeat for the latter.
Batting first, Rajasthan posted a total of 159/6 with Ravindra Jadeja unbeaten on 43 carrying the team through and it proved enough on a difficult pitch to bat on.
Lucknow were absolutely devastated by a dreadful start while batting second as none of Rishabh Pant, Ayush Badoni and Aiden Markram contributed with the bat and even Mitchell Marsh's fighting 55 was not enough.
Jofra Archer picked up three wickets to lead the bowling department with Nandre Burger and Brijesh Sharma sharing two wickets among them while Ravindra Jadeja also managed to take a couple and claim the Man of the Match award.
Lucknow were bundled out for a mere 119 and added to the mounting number of disappointing results for the team as they continue to have a tough time in the tournament. The match is not just going to be known for its result as due to the viral video, the BCCI will have to get a report from the ground regarding the security breach that was apparently committed in the stands.
