India’s left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav struck again, dismissing Wiaan Mulder to take his third wicket on Day 1 (Saturday, November 22) of the second Test against South Africa at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. The wicket fell on the second delivery of the 68th over.
Kuldeep flighted the ball beautifully around off stump, tempting Mulder to play an aggressive attacking shot. The right-hander tried to hit it in the air but mistimed it, sending an easy catch to Yashasvi Jaiswal at mid-off. You can watch the video here:

Wiaan Mulder was dismissed for 13 runs from 18 balls, hitting two boundaries. His departure left South Africa struggling at 201/5 after 67.2 overs.
After opting to bat first, South Africa’s openers Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton gave their side a solid start, putting together an 82-run opening stand off 161 balls. Jasprit Bumrah provided India with their first breakthrough by dismissing Markram for 38 from 81 deliveries. Kuldeep Yadav then struck to remove Rickelton, who scored 35 off 82 balls, hitting five boundaries.
The middle order, Temba Bavuma and Tristan Stubbs, added 84 runs for the third wicket from 180 balls. Ravindra Jadeja ended the partnership by dismissing Bavuma for 41, while Stubbs fell just short of a fifty, scoring 49 off 112 balls with four fours and two sixes. Wiaan Mulder contributed 13 runs off 18 balls before Kuldeep claimed his third wicket of the innings.
At the latest update, South Africa were 224/5 in 72 overs, with Tony de Zorzi on 22 and Senuran Muthusamy on 9 at the crease, looking to build a strong total. South Africa currently lead the two-match series 1-0, following their impressive 30-run win in the first Test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, where India were bowled out for 93 while chasing 124.
