The Punjab Kings fast bowler Arshdeep Singh will probably have to find a different way to accompany his new girlfriend, as the Board of Cricket Control of India will be strictly prohibiting "unauthorized people" in the team bus or accessing anything dealing with the players and team members.

In an interview with the news agency, ANI, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia called out the ongoing anomalies during the ongoing Indian Premier League. Saikia confirmed that the BCCI is strictly looking after that. But the primary thing is to cut off any kind of non-related people from availing the team facilities. Saikia siad,

“This time, we have observed various anomalies and irregularities in the conduct of certain franchises and players. So, BCCI and IPL are preparing an advisory, and we are going to release that advisory this evening because we have noticed that there are a lot of unauthorised persons who are moving along with the team members."

He added,

“And some people who are unauthorised are coming to the hotels and to the players’ rooms or the team officials’ room, which is totally against our anti-corruption protocols."

Arshdeep Singh spotted with girlfriend in players' arena multiple times

Notably last year, the Punjab spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was spotted travelling with his "friend" RJ Mahavash. And the same thing followed as Arshdeep was often spotted with his girlfriend Samreen Kaur. She was not just with in the airport, but in the hotel lobby and even in the team bus travelling with the players.

Even Hardik Pandya's girlfriend Maheika Sharma was spotted in the support staff's bus of the Mumbai Indians.

This specific restriction has been imposed on unauthorized people which includes girlfriends too. Family members including kids and wives are allowed.

Saikia warns players and franchises on illegal behaviors.

Rajasthan Royals have been the talk of the town recently for two major instance- manager Ravinder Singh Bhinder using phone in the dugout, and then captain RIyan Parag vaping in the dressing room.

Even though BCCI warned them for their actions, Saikia publicly spoke about it. He said,

“We have also seen that certain team owners and officials are mingling with players in areas where it is not allowed. There are certain protocols we have to follow, and we have seen there are some dilutions."

He said,

“We have taken this very seriously. We are issuing an advisory, and it will be very strictly followed. If there is any violation hereinafter, then BCCI and IPL will take very stringent action."

Added to the consequences, Chahal was allegedly spotted vaping, that inside a flight, which is equally illegal.
