Dates confirmed for World Darts Championship 2026 confirmed with 36 sessions of action at Ally Pally set

The PDC has set the official dates for the 2026 World Darts Championship. The biggest a most important tournament on the calendar begins on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, and the final will be played on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026.

All first-round matches will be finished between Thursday, Dec. 11, and Friday, Dec. 19. All but the opening day will consist of an afternoon session and an evening session. Next, the second round will take place between Saturday, December 20 and Tuesday, December 23. Again, there will be afternoon and evening darts on all days.

After a short break over Christmas, darters still in the tournament between Saturday, Dec. 27, and Monday, Dec. 29, return for third-round matches. Monday evening, December 29, two matches from the fourth round will also already be played. The final matches in the fourth round will then all be played on Tuesday, December 30.

The players who are then all still in the tournament then return on New Year's Day for the quarterfinals. Two quarterfinalists will fill out the afternoon session, and the other two games will be played in the evening session. The semifinals are then scheduled for Friday night, Jan. 2, and the new world champion will be crowned on Saturday, Jan. 3.
