Draw Dutch Darts Championship 2025 | Opponents confirmed for Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price and home hero Michael van Gerwen

The draw for the Dutch Darts Championship 2025 has been announced. During the Euro Tour weekend in Rosmalen from May 23 to 25, the next block of European Tour action will unfold.

The two highest ranked Dutch stars are in action in front of a home crowd. Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert have been directly admitted to the second round of the tournament as they are among the top 16 seeded players. Van Gerwen will play in the last 32 on Saturday against the winner of the duel between Mike de Decker and Mickey Mansell. Noppert will meet Niels Zonneveld or Mario Vandenbogaerde.

Elsewhere, top players such as Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price, James Wade, Peter Wright, Stephen Bunting and defending champion Josh Rock have been directly admitted to the second round, much like Van Gerwen and Noppert.

Four editions of this tournament have been played since its inception in 2018. The first edition took place in Maastricht and was won by Ian White, who settled with Ricky Evans (8-5) in the final. Four years later, the Dutch Darts Championship moved to Zwolle. Then it was Michael Smith who lifted the cup. Bullyboy' won the final 8-7 against Danny Noppert, for now the only Dutch finalist in the history of this event.

Since the 2022 edition, this tournament does appear annually on the Euro Tour calendar. However, for the third time in a row it got a different location. In 2023 it was Leeuwarden that hosted the Dutch Darts Championship. The title was a triumph for Dave Chisnall after an 8-5 victory over Luke Humphries. Starting in 2024, the event will be held in Rosmalen, which is now playing for the second year in a row. Josh Rock is the defending champion after taking the win against Jonny Clayton (8-4).
