Gerwyn Price has won the 2025 Poland Darts Masters, outlasting Stephen Bunting in a dramatic last leg decider final on Saturday night in Gliwice on the World Series of Darts.

The match began with both players holding throw comfortably, Bunting setting the tone with a confident opening leg before Price responded in kind with a clean double 10 finish. The early stages saw little between the two, but the tension began to rise when Price missed a golden opportunity to break in leg three. Bunting, ever alert, capitalised to edge back in front at 2-1.

Price hit back in style in the fourth, producing a sublime 137 checkout to level the score, but his inconsistency on tops would prove costly. Bunting, showing great composure, punished Price again in the fifth with a classy 96 finish to hold, and then struck the first major blow of the match by breaking throw just before the interval to take a 4-2 lead.

After the break, Price roared back to life, immediately breaking Bunting and levelling up after a scrappy exchange where both missed crucial doubles. The Welshman’s struggles on the outer ring persisted, and Bunting regained the lead at 5-4 after more missed chances from his opponent.

But the pendulum swung again. Price levelled once more, then claimed four of the next five legs to surge into a 7-5 lead, seemingly closing in on the title with a determined roar and a clinical double 18.

Bunting, though, refused to go quietly. A gutsy 14-darter kept his hopes alive, and when Price missed three match darts in the following leg, "The Bullet" found double 3 under pressure to force a nerve-shredding decider.

With the match on a knife edge, and Bunting sat on tops after 12 darts, Price summoned one final act of brilliance. Needing 91 for the title, he coolly found single 17, double 17, and then a spectacular double 20 to seal a sensational victory.

It was a fittingly dramatic end to a match that had everything – big finishes, missed opportunities, and world-class drama. For Gerwyn Price, it was a triumph of resilience and clutch finishing.
