"I felt very nervous, he may have also felt nervous but not as much as me". Since dropping form in the US Darts Masters, Stephen Bunting admitted he felt very nervous for his first round tie against Tytus Kanik. He also went on to say, "that game is behind me now and I know what to do to win this tournament". Bunting faces another Polish standout, Krzysztof Ratajski, in that next round.
"I respected the crowd they were supporting their home grown player, which is okay and I'll face that tomorrow too".
"It is very good winning any event, but coming back here after winning this event before gives you lots of confidence". Can Stephen Bunting get back to form and win this European Tour again?
"It is tiring, only last week we were in New York, but i'm not one of the players that will complain, if i'm on the round in PDC tournaments, I have the chance to win good money for me and my family".
When being asked what he wants to do when he retires his response was, "to go to a hot country and sit on a beach" this caused plenty of laughter coming from the crowd.
"I love coming over here, the venue is brilliant, the hotel is brilliant and we really get looked after whilst we are here and hopefully Polish darts keeps getting better". Stephen Bunting ended his interview but expressing how much he loves to play in this tournament and how much the darts players get respect from the tournament hosts.
