There is an interesting development with the 2025 season averages, with Luke Littler leading the way. But that is not just the only standout, 3 out of the 4 of them are under the age of 25 as per Darts Orakel.
As we know, Luke Littler is leading the way with an average of 100.64 and is still number 2 in the world ranking, but he is really closing on now to become number 1. The Nuke, is the youngest one of the group at 18 years old.
In second for this season average it is current number 1 in the world, Luke Humphries, with a a score of 99.34. He is the eldest player in the top 4, being 30 but he is still very young compared to others he competes against.
In third we have Gian Van Veen, the Dutchmen has a current average of 98.73, he is a player in the last year who is really on the rise and this stat proves that nicely. The 23 year old won his first PDC title this year when he won the Players Championship 6 earlier in the year.
Then in fourth place we have the Northern Irishmen, Josh Rock. His current average is 98.48, he is another player that recently he has turned up a notch and won the Players Championship 10 not long back. He is currently only 24 and yet again proves there is a new elite forming.
We have spoken many times about Luke Littler's age but he is not the only young one that is preforming week in week out on the biggest stage. There is also more and more people getting into darts so we won't be surprised if these stats carry on for many years to come.
