Some of the top darters had taken advantage of this tournament-free weekend to play some exhibition events. Luke Littler and Luke Humphries even met three times on Friday and Saturday.

Their first meeting was in Leicester, at the exhibition event Armageddon. There, Littler managed to win the first of three clashes with his great rival by beating Humphries 8-6 thanks to an average of well over 100.

The world numbers one and two were not the only players in action in Leicester. Raymond van Barneveld showed his class by throwing a 170 finish in the deciding leg of his duel against Chris Wickenden. Beau Greaves and Fallon Sherrock were also in action. The battle between the two best players in the world was a triumph for Greaves.

On Saturday, Littler and Humphries featured twice in Norwich. They were joined by Ricky Evans and Steve Beaton in the afternoon session, while Greaves and Sherrock joined them in the evening, while Phil Taylor also made an appearance.

In the afternoon, Littler recorded his second victory over Humphries. This time "The Nuke" averaged 102 and five 180 scores, which was enough for an 8-5 victory over the former world champion. The third clash also turned out to be a triumph for the 18-year-old sensation. It was won 8-3 by Littler.
