With the World Matchplay approaching, Sky Sports got three top players in front of the camera to ask some pertinent questions. Luke Littler, Nathan Aspinall and Fallon Sherrock were the chosen ones. Among other things, we found out who is the biggest buffoon on the Tour and which country they would like to visit again.
For starters, they were asked what tattoo they will get in the future. "I would like to get the World Championship trophy and the date I picked up the trophy," said Luke Littler. "I want a polaroid of Breaking Bad, Stranger Things and Prison Break but I'm not allowed to have it. The Mrs won't let me have it," said Nathan Aspinall laughing. Fallon Sherrock then opts for something different. "I've already got a lot of flowers but they're like roses because they mean stuff. I've got a dart on me as well but we won't talk about that."
Littler, Aspinall and Sherrock are all particularly talented at darts, but what would they do if they weren't pro darts? "I used to be an accountant so I reckon I'd be doing something to do with accounts," Aspinall says. "I probably would say football or even rugby," Littler said. "Probably would be doing hair (hairdresser)," says Sherrock.
Next we find out that Littler, Aspinall and Sherrock are all evening people rather than morning people. But which celebrity would they like to go out to dinner with? "Cristiano Ronaldo," Littler and Aspinall say in chorus. "Just to find out what makes him tick."
Funniest
So who is the funniest player on the Pro Tour? That's for Sherrock to judge. "Aspinall or Cullen," she says. "Them two have got really good sense of humour. But one of them is more drier than the other."
Asked who is the biggest party animal on the tour, Littler said quickly. "Nathan Aspinall."
Their darts activities take them to different places around the world, but which country would they like to visit again? "The Maldives," says Littler. "I'm going to say like Canada," says Sherrock. Finally, Aspinall is looking for it in Asia: "I would like to go to China."
Finally, they were asked who their best friend is in the darts world. "Probably say Josh Rock," Littler said. "At the moment it's probably going to be Lorraine Winstanley," Sherrock said. "Chris Dobey is my best mate in darts and I'd like to think so considering I gave him some Oasis tickets for nothing. So yeah I'll reckon he'll say the same."
