PDC Development Tour Order of Merit: Beau Greaves takes lead after two titles and creates unique triology

Beau Greaves is proving her dominance on the Development Tour, showing that she can compete at the highest level on this circuit as well. On both Friday and Saturday, she secured tournament victories, putting her at the top of the Development Tour Order of Merit.

Over the first four tournaments of the season, Greaves has accumulated a total of £5,375 in prize money. This places her well ahead of the other two tournament winners, Owen Bates (£3,500) and Sebastian Bialecki (£3,325), who currently trail behind her in the rankings.

The Development Tour Order of Merit is now the third ranking where Greaves holds the top position. The 21-year-old Englishwoman also leads the Challenge Tour Order of Merit and the Women's Series Order of Merit. Each of these rankings offers a pathway to qualification for the PDC World Darts Championship, but it remains uncertain whether Greaves will take advantage of these opportunities. In the past two years, she qualified for the World Championship at Alexandra Palace but declined the invitation in favor of competing in the Women's World Championship at Lakeside.

The PDC Development Tour serves as the youth circuit of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and is open to players aged 16 to 23. Those who turn 24 during the season are still eligible to compete for the remainder of the year.

Each Development Tour event features a prize pool of £15,000, with winnings contributing to an overall ranking. At the end of the season, the top two players on the ranking list earn invitations to the PDC World Darts Championship, along with a Tour Card for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. Additionally, the overall ranking winner secures a spot in the prestigious Grand Slam of Darts.
