PDC Form Guide Update: Josh Rock leads alternative ranking as Luke Littler plummets
Paul Targyik/PDC Europe

A new PDC Form Guide has been released. This 'alternative' world ranking only takes into account the last 200 legs played by each Tour Card holder. In the top ten we also find two Dutchmen.

In first place is Josh Rock. The 24-year-old Northern Irishman, only 15th in the official world rankings, averaged 100.63 and 43.70% on his doubles during his last 200 legs played.

Just behind Rock, we find Luke Humphries in second place. The 30-year-old Englishman, still leader of the official world rankings, had an average of 100.40 and 43.08% on his doubles during his last 200 legs played.

Completing the top three in this PDC Form Guide is Stephen Bunting. 'The Bullet,' fourth in the official world rankings, averaged 100.27 and 39.08% on his doubles during his last 200 legs played.

Also an interesting aspect is that on all four metrics, there are four different leaders with Gerwyn Price having the best OChE rating which is a metric designed to evaluate the efficiency at which players convert said high averages into legs won.

The statistic is the % of the legs a player would expect to win on the ProTour calculated from weighted average of four different checkout rates. On this rating, only Price would be favoured to win the most legs this year.

Luke Littler has also plunged from being number one to 11th as his inconsistent averages paint a picture. Albeit despite this, he is still overwhelming favourite for most tournaments he plays including the Premier League.

But on other metrics, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Gian van Veen excel showing their current form. 'The Titan' has had a superb run as of late and is the number one on 171-180 statistics. While Van Veen is seen as most favoured to hit his doubles and sits number one.
