With 25 of the 48 events now completed, the 2025 PDC Pro Tour has reached its halfway point — and it’s Nathan Aspinall who leads the way for most final appearances this season.
The former UK Open champion has made it to four finals so far, more than any other player. Aspinall has lifted two European Tour titles — the European Darts Trophy and European Darts Open — while also finishing runner-up at the International Darts Open and Players Championship 13.
Hot on his heels are four players who have each appeared in three finals this year:
Chris Dobey, who picked up victories at Players Championship 3 and 17, and was runner-up at PC2. Cameron Menzies, winner of PC11, who also reached the finals of PC4 and PC10. Gerwyn Price, who has gone all the way at Players Championships 2, 9 and 12, and Gian van Veen, who claimed the PC6 title and made finals at PC5 and the German Darts Grand Prix, losing the latter 8-5 to Michael van Gerwen.
Dobey’s latest triumph, over Dirk van Duijvenbode in a gripping 8-7 contest at PC17, marked his eighth PDC title overall, with six of those coming in the past two and a half years — a testament to his growing consistency on the Pro Tour.
Elsewhere, seven players have made two finals in 2025, while 20 different players have reached one final — highlighting the strength in depth across the tour this season.
Action continues today at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester, with Players Championship 18 as the race for titles, prize money, and Order of Merit positions intensifies heading into the second half of the year.
