Ryusei Azemoto throws nearly 112 average on Asian Tour and takes title; also success for Rivera and Ono

Ryusei Azemoto impressed on Saturday on the Asian Tour by taking the title at Event 10 with an average of nearly 112. The Japanese recorded his first Asian Tour title of the season in Kuala Lumpur.

Azemoto made it to the final after wins over Keichon Ho (4-3), Clarence Jude Silva Chan (4-1), Fatt Tau Lim (4-1), Tenooth Sivalingam (4-2), Mitsuhiko Tatsunami (4-3) and Haruki Muramatsu (5-2). Then in the final, Azemoto triumphed 5-1 against Pupo Teng-Lieh with an average of a whopping 111.83.

There were also tournament victories for Reynaldo Rivera and Keita Ono. Rivera won the ninth tournament by defeating Keita Ono (4-2), Royden Lam (4-2), Muhammad Ali Bin Haji Awang (4-0), Melvin Jun Long Zheng (4-0), Paul Lim (4-2), Tomoya Goto (5-3) and Abdul Qahar Ukail Hj Shamsul Ariffin (5-4).

The 11th event of the Asian Tour 2025 was won by Ono, who recorded victories over Mohd Nasir Jantan (4-0), Jargalsaikhan Ulziibuyan (4-2), Yuta Hayashi (4-3), Huang Chun-Yao (4-3), Motomu Sakai (4-2), Royden Lam (5-1) and Tengku Shah (5-2).
