Target Darts has proudly added a new name to their impressive roster of players. Adam Lipscombe, a promising talent hailing from Portsmouth, has put his signature on a partnership with the well-known darts manufacturer.
Lipscombe first caught the attention of darts fans and analysts in 2023, when he excelled in the MODUS Super Series. There he showed great potential with good performances.
In early 2025, Lipscombe managed to get his coveted PDC Tour card through Q-School. Remarkable detail: he initially appeared to be eliminated, but a late withdrawal of another player ensured that he was called back to Milton Keynes at the last minute for the final stage and there he seized his chance with both hands.
That he is ready for the big time, Adam proved not much later at Players Championship 7. There he advanced impressively to the final. Along the way he defeated no lesser players: William O'Connor, crowd favorite Dirk van Duijvenbode and Australian number one Damon Heta among others had to acknowledge their superiority to the man from Portsmouth. Although Lipscombe was defeated in the final by Gary Anderson, Lipscombe did excellent business with a view to qualifying for the World Darts Championship later this year.
Managing Director of Target Darts, James Tattersall, is excited about the partnership. "We’re delighted to welcome Adam to the team, and we know he’s got the talent to make something of himself in the darting universe, and we’ll be right by his side as he does so, Welcome Adam!
Welcome to Target - Adam Lipscombe!
