Watch: Gary Anderson risks potential fine by busting score on purpose in act of sportsmanship after getting annoyed at spectator in venue

Gary Anderson is into the semi-finals of Players Championship 26 but against Callan Rydz in the Last 16 it nearly had a different outcome albeit it was in part due to Gary Anderson deciding on purpose to give 'The Riot' a shot.

Anderson potentially risked a fine by busting his shot on purpose as an act of sportsmanship as Rydz had been put off the throw before as 'The Flying Scotsman' visibly got annoyed with someone behind the streaming booth.

"We're playing darts here f off," Anderson was heard saying as Rydz missed double 20 at the time on double 20. The user on X stated he would likely get a fine for the incident which was questioned.

But it was mooted that the DRA would likely point towards Anderson doing it on purpose as not playing to the best of his ability as he basically gave up the leg for free. View the video below.
