James Wade has form for farting in front of opponents and it happened again in his crunch clash with Peter Wright on Tuesday at Players Championship 17 on Tuesday as the match had to be stopped.

Wade would beat Wright 6-5 as he made the Quarter-Finals. But 'The Machine' left Wright reeling and laughing albeit likely from the bizarreness of the situation. Wade was then told the match was being televised.

Owen Binks, who was match referee informed Wade. “Oh boy, okay then… This is a streamed match guys.”

Wade then offered up excuses saying: "It slipped out". Adding 'give it a second'.

He tried to quickly forget about it saying to Wright "Go ahead. Do you want nine more arrows?" but no doubt it knocked off Wright's concentration to begin the tie. He also did the same last year during a Players Championship tournament in Leicester which also hit the headlines.

He beat Callan Rydz 6-5 back then so he has winning form when he passes wind but he then lost to Gary Anderson.
