Great moment for Leon Weber: The German Tour Card rookie managed a 9-darter at Players Championship 20 in Leicester - the second perfect leg of the afternoon and a real highlight from a German perspective.
In the first round match against Tytus Kanik, the perfect leg fell at 1-1. Weber opened the third leg with two 180s and closed out the 141 points in classic fashion: triple 20, triple 19, double 12.
After this moment of brilliance, Weber's game briefly tailed off. Among other things, he needed 24 and 19 darts for two legs, but in the end he deserved to win 6-3. A memorable victory for the young German - with a very special highlight.
