Watch: Luke Littler hilariously trolls Leeds crowd on night 14 of Premier League Darts

The fourteenth night of the 2025 Premier League Darts season took place last night in Leeds, with Luke Humphries emerging victorious after edging out Luke Littler 6-5 in a closely contested final. Despite the defeat, Littler remains firmly atop the league standings with a commanding seven-point lead over Humphries, with just two nights remaining before the play-offs. However, whether Littler took much enjoyment from the evening is debatable — once again, he found himself the target of boos from the crowd.

Littler began his night in Leeds with a 6-4 quarter-final win over Nathan Aspinall, a match in which he was repeatedly jeered by sections of the audience. The reaction clearly frustrated the 18-year-old, who gestured several times towards the crowd in an attempt to express his displeasure. One fan quipped on X (formerly Twitter): “If the crowd keeps this up, Luke Littler will boycott the Premier League night in Leeds next year.” Another added: “Littler winding up the crowd is absolutely brilliant!”

Not everyone was as amused, however. A Leeds supporter posted: “The crowd did barely anything. He acts like everyone’s against him — poor behaviour, to be honest. He’s showing his age.”

This is not the first time Littler has faced hostility from the stands. Just last month, he was booed at the German Darts Grand Prix and later announced that he would not return to play in Germany for the foreseeable future. Even on home soil, Littler’s relationship with the crowd has often been strained. Before the night in Leeds, he had already warned: “I will always give it back to them.”

Regardless of the off-stage drama, Littler’s consistent performances mean he has long since secured his place in the Premier League play-offs. “I will just relax these next few weeks. I don’t have to perform to any high standard, I’m just going to cruise my way into the O2,” he said, referring to the venue for the play-offs.
