Which players have been most successful in Euro Tour qualifiers through 2025?
PDC

In Hildesheim, Germany, the qualification tournaments for the Dutch Darts Open and the European Darts Open — respectively the seventh and eighth events on the 2025 European Tour — were held yesterday.

For each tournament, the top 16 players on the world rankings and the top 16 on the Pro Tour Order of Merit automatically secure spots in the main draw. That leaves 10 places up for grabs via Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, making every event a fiercely contested affair.

Springer Sets the Pace

After eight of the 14 qualifying events, Germany’s Niko Springer stands out as the most consistent performer. He’s come through qualifying five times so far — more than any other player — and has earned a place at five European Tour main events. The road to the 2025 European Tour continues to heat up, with qualifiers for the Dutch Darts Open and the European Darts Open taking place yesterday in Hildesheim, Germany. These events mark the seventh and eighth stops on this year’s tour.

Not far behind is Mickey Mansell. The Northern Irishman has four qualifications from eight attempts, underlining his steady form.

Vandenbogaerde in the Mix

Belgium’s Mario Vandenbogaerde finds himself in third place in the qualification table. He booked his spot at the Dutch Darts Open yesterday, adding to earlier appearances at the International Darts Open and the German Darts Grand Prix. He came close to making it a double, narrowly missing out on a place at the European Darts Open after a final-round loss to Lukas Wenig.

Also with three qualifications are the likes of Krzysztof Ratajski, Matt Campbell and Karel Sedlacek.

Each European Tour event also features qualifiers from specific regions. From the Nordic & Baltic region, Sweden’s Johan Engström has already booked his place at three events. Similarly, Croatia’s Boris Krcmar — who held a Tour Card until last year — has qualified three times via the East European route.

Finally, four places per event are reserved for Host Nation Qualifiers, giving players from the host country a shot at the big stage. Germany’s Daniel Klose and Michael Unterbuchner have taken full advantage, each qualifying three times so far this season.
