Comfort shows are more than just background noise, sometimes they're the emotional support that we need. Whether it's the catchy theme songs, predictable plot twists, or characters who feel like family, these shows are there to give us a guaranteed laugh, a good cry, or a calming feeling after a hectic day. Sometimes a feel-good comfort show comes in the form of a show that’s literally about nothing, that’s what viewers get when watching Seinfeld. Although the show aired for nine seasons from 1989 to 1998, the show being in syndication for years has allowed old and new fans to fall in love with it. The show is centered around a fictionalized version of Jerry Seinfeld and his group of friends living in New York. A lot of the scenes find the group congregating either at Seinfeld’s apartment or the frequently visited diner Monk’s Cafe.
