Some may be sick of traveling on this planet. If only we could enter these fictional cities instead.
Zootopia
Walt Disney Animation Studios
Zootopia isn’t the utopia some believe it to be, but it’s still a great place for animals to live with unique pockets that would be fun to see. We just wouldn’t stop at the DMV while visiting the city.
Emerald City
Marc Platt Productions
Emerald City might not be the place to visit if you don’t like the color green, but for everyone else, it would be a dream. It’s magical and whimsical, and it’s industrious while maintaining its charm. We’d enjoy “one short day in the Emerald City.”
Pawnee
Open 4 Business Productions
If we could visit Pawnee, Indiana, we’d hit up all the best spots. We’d stop by City Hall to see Leslie and the gang, have breakfast at JJ’s Diner, get some candy from Sweetums, and. of course, see the smallest park in Indiana.
Bikini Bottom
Nickelodeon Animation Studio
There would be endless things to do on a trip to Bikini Bottom. You could drive a boat, try a Krabby Patty, go jellyfishing, and have a nightcap at the Salty Spitoon. And it would be totally possible for humans to go down there — just look at Sandy Cheeks.
Swallow Falls
Columbia Pictures
A town where food rains from the sky? Yeah, we want to go there. Swallow Falls from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is also a charming island town that would be perfect for a getaway — even if it didn’t have a bizarre, recurring weather phenomenon.
Hogsmeade
Warner Bros. Pictures
Doesn’t Hogsmeade look idyllic? There are all sorts of iconic spots to visit while there, and there’s tons of magic. Literally. How great does having a butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks sound right now?
Halloween Town
Touchstone Pictures
Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas looks spooky — but in a fun way. We’d love to spend some time at the pumpkin patch or the graveyard. We’d also love to venture over to Christmas Town while we’re in Holiday World.
Halloweentown
Singer-White Entertainment
Another Halloween town we’d love to visit is that from the Disney Channel Halloweentown saga. It’s full of charming monsters and it has a giant pumpkin in the middle of the city. What more could you want out of a place to live?
Monstropolis
Pixar Animation Studios
Speaking of places with charming monsters, how fun would it be to visit Monstropolis from Monsters, Inc.? It’s got all the conveniences of the modern human world, just with more monsters.
Whoville
Imagine Entertainment
As they say in the movie, “There’s no place like Whoville around Christmas Day.” We believe this sentiment, but we’d also like to confirm for ourselves. We’d join in the Whobilation, have roast beast, and see if we can spot the Grinch on Mount Crumpit.
Gotham City
Warner Bros. Pictures
At its worst, Gotham City is a destroyed memory of a city controlled by lunatics and psychopaths. At its best, it’s a vibrant city where citizens can rest assured they’ll be saved by a superhero. We would like to visit when it’s at its best.
Stars Hollow
Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions
Is there any city — real or fictional — as cozy as Stars Hollow? Lorelai had it figured out when she moved there to work at an inn. Stars Hollow is a haven for holiday enthusiasts and the coffee-obsessed.
San Fransokyo
Walt Disney Animation Studios
How much fun does San Fransokyo look? The Big Hero 6 city is an amalgamation of cultures and is hoppin’ at all times of the day. That city is operating in the future, and we want to go there.
Fairview
Universal Studios Hollywood
Fairview would be a fantastic place to visit if you knew someone who lived there. The drama is juicy and eternal, and having someone with direct access to it all would be incredible.
Springfield
Gracie Films
There are plenty of real American cities named Springfield that we could visit, but we’d rather go to the one where The Simpsons takes place. It just looks so idyllic. It’s not, but it looks that way.

Radiator Springs
Radiator Springs
Pixar Animation Studios
We would love to visit a city where cars act like humans. It might be unsettling at first, but it would ultimately be super fun. It would be a perfect place to stop for a few hours while on a road trip.
Atlantica
Walt Disney Animation Studios
Who needs Atlantis when there’s Atlantica? The fictional city that is home to Ariel in The Little Mermaid is beautiful and seems to host great parties. Ariel wanted to get out of her ocean town, but we’d like to visit.
Duloc
DreamWorks Animation
Sure, there are strict rules that need to be followed while in Duloc, but those are minor details. As long as you behave, visiting Duloc would be a ton of fun thanks to its fairytale themes and characters of citizens.
Bedrock
Hanna-Barbera Productions
The key word when discussing travel to Bedrock is visit. We just want to visit Bedrock, not live there. We are not cut out to live inside rocks, but spending a few hours there would be fun and charming.
Orbit City
Hanna-Barbera Productions
Orbit City is another place we’d only like to visit. Seeing how the Jetsons and their neighbors live in such a futuristic place would be fascinating, but it would be a little terrifying to spend so much time so high in the sky.
