Throughout history, women have had to go above and beyond to be recognized as equals in this world. Along the way, the tenacity of figures like Joan of Arc, Harriet Tubman, and even as recently as Simone Biles has inspired girls of all ages to be courageous. However, for as many women in the real world who have done their part to move people, there have been just as many female characters in both TV and film who’ve proven to be just as fearless, from those who volunteered as tribute to those who went on to save their homeland and all the rest in between.
