If Apple TV+ is hoping to draft off the success of "Severance ," the show in position to do so is "The Studio." This showbiz satire, co-created by star Seth Rogen, debuts with two episodes on March 26. In "The Studio," Rogen plays the new head of a fictional Hollywood studio, and joining him in the cast are Bryan Cranston, Kathryn Hahn, and Catherine O'Hara. However, what good is a send-up of Hollywood if you don't have celebrity cameos. No question "The Studio" has revealed itself to be packed to the brim with such cameos.
The eclectic list includes actors, directors, comedian's, hollywood power players and everything in between. Among the boldface names include Charlize Theron, Kathryn Hahn, Bryan Cranston, Ike Barenholz, Catherine O'Hara, Adam Scott, Zach Snyder, Ice Cube, Steve Buscemi, Peter Berg, Johnny Knoxville, Jean Smart, Ted Sarandos, and Aaron Sorkin. This is just a smattering of the list of cameos.
It's not surprising to see Rogen's old co-stars like Charlize Theron and Zac Efron making appearances. "Severance" star Adam Scott is both a big name at Apple TV+ and also a guy who has been in the same comedy circles as Rogen for years.
Of course, simply having a bunch of famous people show up won't make "The Studio" any good. It will add some enjoyment to watching the show, though, which you can do starting March 26.
