Tennessee plays the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman on September 21, so fans who want attend both events will have to get back to Knoxville in a hurry on Sunday morning.
Last fall, Wallen told Country Countdown USA that selling out Neyland Stadium is his No. 1 career goal.
“I know it’s hard to imagine where you go from there. It’s obviously really cool. I’m always trying to make new goals," said Wallen. "As far as touring goes, my No. 1 goal in selling out Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.”
Wallen used the "spooky" version of Rocky Top to announce the concert.
Previous musicians to play Neyland Stadium include Michael Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, and Garth Brooks.
