It took a surgeon’s scalpel to excise the must-see episodes out of the 420 that Grey’s Anatomy has aired. But you don’t have to stop with these: Hulu now carries the run of the medical drama, plus new episodes starting March 15, the day after they air on ABC.
The first shift at Seattle Grace for surgical interns Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), George O’Malley (T.R. Knight), Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) and Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) sets the tone for the instantly addictive series. The hour is marked by competition, anxiety, lust and bad decisions—like Meredith unwittingly bedding her new boss, skilled neurosurgeon Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey).
This iconic conclusion of a nail-biting two-parter finds Meredith with her hand inside a patient’s chest cavity, trying to stem his bleeding and keep an embedded explosive from detonating. The suspense is excruciating. At last, Meredith safely removes the device…only to have it blow up as bomb squad leader Dylan (guest star Kyle Chandler, movingly noble) carries it away. Meredith is knocked unconscious, while Dylan is killed.
A revenge-minded gunman (Michael O’Neill) who blames Derek for his wife’s death stalks the hospital in an intensely scary two-parter. He seriously wounds Derek and Alex and fatally shoots young doc Charles Percy (Robert Baker), whom attending physician Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) memorably comforts as he dies: “You are not alone, you hear me?” Meredith too experiences loss, as the trauma of an OR standoff and the seeming death of Derek lead her to miscarry.
A chartered plane goes down in deep woods with six of the hospital’s doctors. As they await help, Meredith’s half sister Lexie (Chyler Leigh), trapped underneath the wreckage, gets her last “I love you”s from Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) before dying. Meanwhile, Derek’s mangled hand could end his career. And a frantic Meredith reminds Cristina that she’ll always be her person.
Mer and Der’s much-tested love comes to a heartbreaking end in the beautifully performed episode. After he’s in a horrific accident, she chooses to disconnect her husband from life support—but not before whispering to him, “It’s OK. You go. We’ll be fine.” Sob.

There is no ramp-up period for the Chicago Bears at training camp this year. Head coach Ben Johnson brought the same intensity he harbored during OTAs at the Bears’ first practice of training camp Wednesday at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Illinois. Adam Hoge of CHGO Bears said that Johnson was upset with Williams and the offense multiple times on Wednesday. He got into the face of the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft during a seven-on-seven drill. “Accountability is what I’m talking about, though, because, look, it was like a three-strike thing, let’s call three strikes, and you’re out all right,” Hoge said on the CHGO podcast. “Because we saw Ben get in Caleb’s, you know what, during seven-on-sevens about something. I don’t know what it was about, but he wasn’t happy, and he was screaming at him, alright.” Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson tried to show patience Johnson tried to show patience with the second mistake, when there was a miscommunication with the wide receivers getting lined up. He let Williams and the receivers sort the issue out before the play. But Johnson didn’t stand idly on the third pre-snap mistake; another miscommunication between Williams and the receivers. Johnson pulled the entire first-team off the field in favor of the second-team led by veteran quarterback Case Keenum. Caleb Williams is picking up where he left off in OTAs Per multiple reports, the Bears’ offense had a poor day. Mark Carman called Williams’ performance on Wednesday the worst part of practice. “Today was just bad,” Carman said. “They had to pull the offense off the field. (Williams) wasn’t getting them lined up. It might not have been his fault every single time...his first pass was picked off (by linebacker Tremaine Edmunds). “He rolled right on long play, Cold Kmet’s wide open right in front of him. He ended up running out of bounds. It just wasn’t a good day for the quarterback.” Williams didn’t have a great spring. He struggled with every duty from calling the play in the huddle to getting the cadence right to throwing the ball into the middle of the field or further than 10 yards. As of Day 1 at camp, all of those things are still problems. But at least the $13 million per year head coach is mad.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb reminded teammates to keep their cool after the team had multiple skirmishes during the first two days of training camp. Rookie defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku and tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford got involved in a brief scuffle on Tuesday. At the following practice on Wednesday, a fight broke out between safety Markquese Bell and TE Tyler Neville. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer then stopped practice and pulled the whole team together. He said the next player who threw a punch would be kicked out of practice (via Joseph Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News). "We've got to be professional," Lamb said of the incident after practice, per ESPN's Todd Archer. "I get it that we have a lot of animosity and tension between us and understanding that we want to proclaim our dominance and show like aggressiveness on both sides of the ball, but then again, to what extent?" Fighting in training camp isn't uncommon. It's an intense environment. Many are trying to prove themselves before teams trim their rosters to 53 players. However, too much brawling can threaten to tear a locker room apart. A lack of discipline was also one reason the Cowboys replaced Mike McCarthy with Schottenheimer this offseason. According to NFLPenalties.com, Dallas drew the league's sixth-most flags (128) last season. Per Archer, there were no more fights after Schottenheimer pulled the team aside. Still, the incidents raise questions about his ability to maintain control. The coach spent Wednesday morning's meeting discussing two plays where DE Sam Williams was too physical and sent to the sideline. His players must not have received the message. It's good for Dallas that Lamb seems to be echoing Schottenheimer's sentiments, but the rookie HC still must get through to his team. Rebounding from a 7-10 season could already prove challenging for the Cowboys. As of Wednesday, ESPN's Football Power Index gives Dallas a 34.5% chance to make the playoffs. Infighting will make that even more difficult.
New York Knicks star forward OG Anunoby officially has a new shoe deal. It was announced Thursday that Anunoby has signed a shoe deal with Skechers ahead of the 2025-26 season. Knicks’ OG Anunoby signs shoe deal with Skechers Anunoby had previously been with Nike throughout his career and has now made the transition over to Skechers. He is currently the only Knick with Skechers, though former Knick Julius Randle also has a deal with them. “Skechers has helped me continue to play basketball at an elite level and I love these shoes,” said Anunoby to Skechers. “I play quick and low to the court. I jump and move a lot. Skechers has the shoe to keep me comfortable, keep me protected and keep me playing my best every day.” Other NBA players who have a deal with Skechers include his former teammate Norman Powell as well as 2023 MVP Joel Embiid. Anunoby has been with the Knicks since Dec. 2023 and will flash a new shoe style on the court this fall. Anunoby is a critical part of the Knicks’ core Anunoby is going to be a crucial part of what the Knicks hope is a successful season in 2025. Last season, he set a new career-high in points per game with 18.0 and shot 37.2% from three-point range. His defense is what makes him so valuable, as he is one of the top wing defenders in the NBA as a whole. For his career, he averages 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks, and has been known to be capable of guarding opposing teams’ best players. The Knicks are expected to be title contenders next season, and Anunoby will be a big part of their core.
The Milwaukee Bucks' decision to waive-and-stretch Damian Lillard sparked even more Giannis Antetokounmpo rumors on social media. There were already reports that Antetokounmpo was considering his options and potentially forcing his way out of Milwaukee, and the Lillard move did little to alleviate the situation. Nevertheless, the weeks have gone by, and Antetokounmpo is still a Buck. More importantly, the team believes that's not going to change any time soon. "We have no indication that anything is really changing as far as our relationship with the player we think is the best in the world," a Bucks front office executive told Spotrac's Keith Smith. "We rebuilt on the fly, in a really challenging situation, but we think we did it as well as it could be done." Antetokounmpo trade rumors have cooled off around the league, and while anything can happen in the NBA, that doesn't seem likely at this point. "Do I think the star guys like Giannis (Antetokounmpo) or LeBron (James) are going to go anywhere? Nope. Is it possible? Sure is," said a Western Conference executive. Giannis chose to stay in Milwaukee with one of the most lucrative contract extensions in NBA history. He was overly critical of the team's effort last season, and another early playoff exit may have driven him to the edge. Even so, he's talked about how he wants to win "the right way," as opposed to chasing rings. That said, with head coach Doc Rivers' long list of questionable postseason performances and a championship window that could be closing right before their eyes, Giannis trade rumors will flood social media again if the Bucks get off to a slow start during the 2026-26 campaign.
