The story of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory begins with its predecessor, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. Six teenagers end up abandoned following the fall of the titular theme park. And they must survive the island and its prehistoric inhabitants, then get home. They also uncover the park’s dark secrets and take on a variety of vile humans.

Chaos Theory is three seasons long, with a fourth and final one on the way. A new trailer recently appeared on YouTube, showcasing intense events that excited all. But what moments did viewers see, and what do they mean for the Nublar Six?

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Recap

Set years after Camp Cretaceous, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory follows the aftermath of Fallen Kingdom. Brooklynn, one of the Nublar Six, dies from a gruesome dinosaur attack. The rest of the group goes their separate ways, barely staying in contact. But they must reunite upon discovering that someone is targeting them for an unknown reason. The worst part is they’re using trained Atrociraptors to carry out the deed.

The group discovers that Brooklynn was investigating a dinosaur smuggling ring before dying. They continue her work, dismantling the operation and learning of its leader, dubbed the Broker. Afterward, they decide to take down the Broker, and the journey takes them to Africa. They uncover a genetics lab primarily used to create dinosaurs to sell. In addition, they’re shocked to learn that Brooklynn is still alive.

Speaking of Brooklynn, she survived the attack, though she lost an arm in the process. She resumes her investigation, leading her to Soyona Santos, also known as the Broker. Brooklynn infiltrates Soyona’s inner circle in an effort to dismantle her entire operation. Her plan succeeds with help from her friends, though their job is far from done. They must now go to BioSyn headquarters and stop a killer dinosaur training program.

Final Season Looking Incredible

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory received a new trailer for its upcoming Season Four. And it revealed what we can expect to see in this final arc. The Nublar Six must trek through BioSyn Valley during the conclusion of Jurassic World: Dominion. They’re there to stop the corporation from training dinosaurs to be hired killers. Also, they must reunite Bumpy, their Ankylosaurus companion, with her child, Smoothy.

Some scenes showcased the team witnessing the wildfire Dodgson causes and the following rainstorm. There are also moments featuring BioSyn employees holding weapons and overseeing the training of Atrociraptors. Dr. Henry Wu, InGen’s former prominent geneticist, is seen briefly. And Sammy seems to be having a tense moment with Brooklynn.

But above all, the trailer revealed the Nublar Six encountering various creatures seen in Dominion. They come across the Therizinosaurus, the Giganotosaurus, Rexy, the Dilophosaurus pack, and the Quetzalcoatlus. They also run into some Pachyrhinosaurus and a Becklespinax, two species introduced in Season One. There’s even a small moment where Smoothy fights back against a Dilophosaurus. Overall, it looks like Chaos Theory‘s final season is shaping up to be its best.

Final Thoughts

I am so ready for this upcoming final season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory! I’ve followed this show since Camp Cretaceous, and it has never disappointed me. I love everything about it, from the aged-up characters to the new dinosaurs. It feels like a genuine continuation while keeping in mind that its fans are older. And I especially adore how it follows canon without overwriting or ruining anything.

Seeing the Therizinosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and Quetzalcoatlus getting properly utilized is something I’m immensely excited for. They were barely involved in Dominion despite the prior hype from the movie’s creators. Now, they’re getting a chance to be actual threats and obstacles to the protagonists. This quality is something we saw with the Pyroraptor during the previous season. And we’ll see it again when Chaos Theory returns to Netflix on November 20th.
