Kacey Musgraves has canceled three added dates from her upcoming "Middle of Nowhere" tour. The affected shows are Aug. 20 at United Center in Chicago, Aug. 29 at TD Garden in Boston and Sept. 2 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Each had been added in a city where Musgraves already had at least one performance scheduled. The cancellation moves the tour's opening night to Aug. 21 at United Center. Musgraves' official tour calendar continues to list the Aug. 28 Boston concert and her Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 shows at Madison Square Garden. The remaining itinerary is scheduled to conclude Oct. 27 in Seattle. TMZ reported, citing unnamed sources, that the cancellations resulted from a scheduling decision and were unrelated to a personal or medical issue. Musgraves and her representatives have not publicly confirmed that explanation. Online speculation that ticket sales prompted the cancellations also remains unsubstantiated. No ticketing data, venue statement or comment from Musgraves' team has established a connection
