KEEPER Trailer Turns True Love Musings Into a Horror Show

What does it mean to achieve true love? How do you know that the person you’re seeing is “the one?” That answer is different for all of us, but there’s one thing we can agree on. We certainly don’t want love, blood, and strange visions to mix. That seems to be the vibe that Oz Perkins’ Keeper trailer is going for with a twist. We meet Liz and Malcolm, a couple in a cabin who are both questioning if the other one is a keeper. But, they keep seeing and experiencing some truly disturbing things in the process. Is this all delusion or is one of them holding onto a dark secret that’s unearthing itself. We shall see.

Oz Perkins is certainly upping his profile as a horror maestro who is crafting some truly unique tales. I love that this trailer gives us some of the story yet leaves us in the dark enough to pique curiosity. There’s nothing worse than watching a trailer and pretty much figuring out the entire plot by the end of it. We need that mystery, trailer making people. The dual perspective set up here is interesting because we could have two unreliable narrators.
