SCOTTSDALE — Kim Kardashian is about to put Scottsdale baseball into the national spotlight.

Paramount+ has set Sept. 24 as the premiere date for Team Moms: Baseball, a new reality series produced by Kardashian that will follow families connected to Legendary Prep Academy — a Scottsdale-based training school focused on baseball development.

The show will focus on the parents as they handle friendships, rivalries and sideline drama around their children’s careers.

The series is set to showcase competition and family drama around the sport, making it more than just another reality show. Scottsdale’s baseball environment will be at the center of it all, with one of the most recognizable names in entertainment firmly attached.

Kardashian and executive producer Natalie Ento said they were drawn to the intensity surrounding the families, noting that the competition in the stands can be nearly as compelling as what happens on the field.

The premise of the series could resonate with other Valley families who are also familiar with the youth baseball ecosystem. Arizona has long been known to be a destination for baseball development, tournaments and training, and Scottsdale is part of a broader Valley sports landscape that attracts athletes and families from across the country.

A real piece of the local sports scene is becoming the setting for a nationally marketed entertainment property.

Whether viewers tune in for the baseball, the families or Kardashian’s celebrity profile, Team Moms: Baseball could give audiences far beyond Arizona a new look at the competitive youth sports culture taking place in the Valley.
