Kim Kardashian files to be legally single amid ongoing divorce from Kanye West?

Well, this is not what Kanye West had in mind when singing for Kim Kardashian to "run right back to me" during his joint "Free Larry Hoover" benefit concert with Drake on Thursday night (Dec. 9).

According to TMZ, Kardashian filed legal documents Friday (Dec. 10) asking for a judge to declare her a legally single woman as her divorce proceedings from West are ongoing. The 41-year-old businesswoman and reality star filed for divorce in February.

"She's essentially asking the judge to separate issues of child custody and property from marital status," TMZ explained. "Kim is also asking that her maiden name be restored ... aka, drop the 'West.'"

Kardashian and West, who married in May 2014, share four children: daughters North, 8, Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2.

Kardashian has been romantically linked to Pete Davidson since October.
