LeBron James, Jay Z, And Draymond Green Were All In Attendance For The Opening Game Of The NFL Season
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James, Jay Z, and Draymond Green were in attendance for the opening game of the NFL season between the Los Angeles Rams and the Buffalo Bills.

The NBA season is still over a month away from starting off, but that doesn't mean sports fans have to wait around for that long to witness some high-quality action. The MLB season is in full swing and the NFL finally kicked off on Thursday night with the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Buffalo Bills.

The NFL kicking off in LA is just about as big as it can get as the Rams commenced their title defense and two men who will be featured on opening day of the NBA season were among the stars in attendance.

LeBron James, Jay Z, And Draymond Green Were In Attendance For The Opener

LeBron James and Draymond Green will be facing off on the 18th of October when the defending champion Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Lakers but the two friends were in a much more relaxed setting at SoFi Stadium. Former Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was with them and so was legendary rapper Jay Z.

That is quite the list of accomplishments for one picture right there, with Odell having won the Super Bowl with the Rams last season while Green and James have each won 4 NBA titles. Jay Z has, of course, won 24 Grammys and he, along with LeBron, have become billionaires in the last few years.

LeBron and Draymond have been hanging out quite a lot this offseason, with the two of them dancing together in Toronto previously. They have definitely come a long way from the 2016 NBA Finals, where tensions between the two were at an all-time high and they even celebrated the 4th of July together.

We probably won't see too much of this once the season commences though, as the two of them will then be focused on their primary goal, which is to win a championship. The Warriors seem primed for a repeat as they have brought back all of the key pieces from last season's title run and they'll be keen to avoid an embarrassing opening day defeat like the Rams just suffered. The Lakers, meanwhile, will be hoping to make a statement like the ones the Bills just made, as they look to bounce back from a disastrous 2021-22 campaign in which they missed the playoffs. Regardless of how their respective seasons turn out, we can expect a thrilling encounter when these two meet on opening day.
