Leonardo DiCaprio has never watched his 'Titanic' film

For many people, seeing themselves in a video or hearing a recording of their voice makes them cringe. Perhaps we are all a little too critical of ourselves and others. This feeling of not wanting to see or hear yourself can even extend to people who are on camera for a living, like our favorite actors. One of these people is Leonardo DiCaprio, who revealed during an interview that he’s never seen Titanic . Yes, that classic film starring DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as iconic fictional characters Jack and Rose.

DiCaprio told this to Jennifer Lawrence during a Variety “Actors on Actors” chat. He brought up the fact that he passed on Boogie Nights because the production schedule was overlapping with Titanic filming. Lawrence asked if he’d rewatched Titanic in recent times, and DiCaprio replied that he’s never seen it before.

Of course, Lawrence told him that he totally should because it is a great film. But, DiCaprio simply said he doesn’t really watch his own films. Well, he’s certainly missing out on some gems. The pair chatted about quite a few other things, including their work as kids and dynamics with various famous directors. And maybe, just maybe, Leonardo DiCaprio will one day change his mind and find three hours to watch Titanic.
