Reality TV isn't for everyone, and these 20 former cast members know it best.

Annemarie Wiley
Billy Bennight/AdMedia/Sipa USA
Annemarie Wiley wasn't exactly loved by fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After an exhausting season full of petty arguments with a few of her co-stars, this Season 13 addition was axed right after their reunion special. “I just got word today that I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.

Nina Ali
YouTube/Bravo
Nina Ali was the first cast member fired from Bravo's first internationally-based Real Housewives iteration. Although she showcased her glamorous life on The Real Housewives of Dubai, watchers couldn't care less about her premium fruitcake business, leading to her exit. In an Instagram post, she said she was "grateful" she was able to help Bravo "bring this beloved franchise to the city I call home."

Tiffany Hendra
Sthanlee B. Mirador
Tiffany Hendra was fired from The Real Housewives of Dallas after its first season. Unfortunately, most viewers don't find yes-men entertaining. However, they love LeeAnne Locken, her outspoken bestie.

Kim Fields
Sthanlee B. Mirador
We all know Kim Fields. She's Black Hollywood royalty, known for her role in The Facts of Life. Although she's a decorated actress, she's a terrible reality star, and her only season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta is evidence enough of it.

Amber Marchese
YouTube/Bravo
Amber Marchese didn't have the "it" factor to be on Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She was unnecessarily messy, had a problematic husband who loved fighting with the women, and rubbed many in the Bravosphere the wrong way. She (and her husband) were fired after one season in 2014.

Teresa Aprea
YouTube/Bravo
Teresa also appeared in Season 6 of RHONJ. She wasn't a fan favorite but tried to bring the drama.

Nicole Napolitano
YouTube/Bravo
Nicole is the last RHONJ Season 6 cast member axed from the franchise after a lackluster season. The only interesting thing about her is that she was on with her twin (mentioned above).

Carlton Gebbia
YouTube/TMZ
Bravo parted ways with Carlton Gebbia after her appearance in Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although her life as a Wiccan was interesting and something viewers hadn't seen before, she didn't move the needle, leading to her firing.

Diana Jenkins
YouTube/Bravo
Fans of RHOBH loathed Diana Jenkins. She wasn't nice, bullied her co-stars, and just wasn't fit for reality television. It didn't seem like the network had much of an investment in her, either. Despite being a full-time cast member, she filmed the three-part reunion virtually for 10 minutes.

Max Boyens
YouTube/Entertainment Tonight
There's not much to say about Max Boyens, the one-season wonder from Vanderpump Rules. The reality star was fired after his first and only season after previous racist tweets resurfaced online.

Brett Caprioni
YouTube/Entertainment Tonight
Brett, too, was fired from VPR for using racially insensitive language in past tweets.

Alex Wach
YouTube/Worthy Stars
Alex was so boring on Summer House that producers edited him out of episodes completely. At least he was able to joke about it, though.

Jennie Nguyen
YouTube/Bravo
Like some of the others on this list, Jennie Nguyen was fired from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after one season when her trove of racist posts resurfaced online. After her firing, she shared her thoughts in an Instagram video.
"I know I hurt a lot of people. I know my viewpoint during that time in 2020 was emotional," she said, referring to problematic posts about George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. "But I want you to understand that my political stance, I still support that. I am very proud to be a Republican." She continued, "I don't tolerate violence. But I do support my law enforcement. I know with every profession, there's good, and there's bad. I don't support the bad; I don't support the brutality of Black people or any race. But I do support my law enforcement. But that doesn't make me racist. To support my political stance, that does not make me a racist."

Nneka Ihim
Clifton Prescod/Bravo
We had much hope for Nneka Ihim from The Real Housewives of Potomac. Unfortunately, she picked a fight with the wrong cast member and latched onto it the entire season, which drove fans up a wall. She was let go after Season 8.

Meeka Claxton
YouTube/VH1
The only reason we remember Meeka Claxton is because of her tired feud with Tami Roman. We haven't heard much about her since she was fired from Basketball Wives in 2011.

Angel Love
YouTube/VH1
Angel Love didn't wow us much on Basketball Wives, which explains why she was axed after a season in 2016.

Laura-Leigh
YouTube/Bravo
Laura-Leigh was a "friend" of Vanderpump Rules in the first season, but her obsession with fame (and Jax Taylor) was a bit much for us.

Peter Hunziker
YouTube/Bravo/US Weekly
The Bravoverse loves Below Deck, but they didn't love watching Peter Hunziker after his racially insensitive social media posts began appearing online.

Elizabeth Lyn Vargas
YouTube/Bravo
Believe it or not, there is such a thing as sharing too much on reality television, and we think Elizabeth Lyn Vargas from The Real Housewives of Orange County got caught up in that. Although she tried to make her mark, it didn't stick, which led to her ousting after her only season.

Lizzie Rovsek
YouTube/Bravo
Lizzie Rovesk tried to go toe-to-toe with The Real Housewives of Orange County's marquee players, Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge, only to discover she couldn't handle it. She left the series after Season 9.
