Musicians we'd love to see on reality TV

Even though Cardi B rose to fame after starring in VH1’s Love and Hip-Hop, the A-List rapper is entertaining enough to capture audiences by herself. Not only is she a walking meme with hilarious one-liners, but the “Bodak Yellow” performer also comes with rapper Offset and their two children, Kulture and Wave. Talk about endless entertainment. 

Let’s be honest: all of Beyoncé's projects are No. 1 hits. Just look at her solo discography, records, and industry impact. Although she’s always been a private person, if she ever decided to give fans a peek into her world, we have no doubt her show would instantly become the most-watched series. 

Taylor Swift has certainly made a name for herself among the Hollywood elite. She’s given fans a sneak peek into her life with her Netflix documentary, Miss Americana; however, we want more! Could you imagine a weekly series where viewers could sit and watch the songstress write another record-breaking album?

Justin Bieber has been at the top of the game since his debut in 2009. At one point, he was one of the most famous musicians on the face of the planet. Since then, he’s grown up, married his wife, Hailey, and has taken a backseat from the public eye. Despite that, he’s still a star whose life we’d love to explore more. 

Although we’d enjoy watching a reality show where Ariana Grande prepares for her Wicked debut as Glinda, learning the juicy details about her relationship drama seems much more entertaining. And there seems to be plenty of it. 

Rihanna is one of the world’s most famous musicians; however, she hasn’t released new solo music since 2016. Despite this, the singer still has much going on — like running her Fenty empire and raising her two children with A$AP Rocky. Who wouldn’t want to tune in to that?   

Outside of her powerhouse vocals and stunning beauty, Adele has been more open than ever during her 2023 Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele. If she can hold our attention while gossiping with fans about the latest Vanderpump Rules drama, she certainly can keep us tuned into a reality series. 

We’re not sure if it’s his cheesy dance moves or his saucy style, but either way, Harry Styles is a beloved staple in today’s music industry. With an iconic No. 1 song, the album of the year (according to the Grammys), and a two-year-long tour, we’re confident this former boy-bander’s reality show would be a smash hit. 

Although we’d want to see the 2013 Miley Cyrus starring in her reality show, we’d take the 2023 Miley, too. The one that shows off her grown, mature vocals, killer looks, and legendary family members Billy Ray Cyrus and Dolly Parton. 

Bad Bunny has had quite the past few years. With a No. 1 album for 13 weeks, four singles peaking in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and even a surprise WWE wrestling career, the Latin trap singer would have no problem serving us noteworthy content.

We’re witnessing the making of an icon with Olivia Rodrigo. Not only does the actress have three No. 1 singles, a No. 1 album, and three Grammys, she’s on pace to do it again with her upcoming studio album, Guts. We don’t know about you, but we think seeing the behind-the-scenes process of her second project would make for an epic show. 

Megan Thee Stallion is one of the industry’s hottest rappers — figuratively and literally. She’s collaborated with Cardi B, Queen Bey, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, and many others. She’s a three-time Grammy winner, an insane lyricist, and simply that girl. Wouldn’t you tune in? 

Like the other artists on this list, Kendrick Lamar is considered one of the best in the game. He’s loved by many for his authenticity, impact, and overall artistry. If you had a chance to watch one of the greatest of all time create what many consider transformative bodies of art, you'd tune in, too, right?  

Bruno Mars is a legend, and he’s proved that over the years with his three albums, silky smooth voice, and killer dance moves. Plus, he’s won Grammys for Song, Record, and Album of the Year. He comes from a family of musicians, and as we’ve seen with The Braxton Family Values, families that sing together put on one hell of a reality show. 

It could be his humility or bashful personality, but if Ed Sheeran starred in a reality show, we wouldn’t expect copious amounts of drama. However, we’d make sure to tune in because he just seems so pleasant. His Disney+ docuseries, The Sum Of It All, gave a taste of what a reality show would be like. Plus, he’s worked with Beyoncé! If that’s not the ultimate stamp of approval, then what is?  

Like Cardi B, Nicki Minaj is another hilarious meme queen people consider one of the best rappers of all time. From viral TikTok videos to iconic lyrics, we’d love to see this Queens, New York native give us life on the small screen. 

We love John Legend and his notable discography; however, his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and their four children would make their family reality show pop. Because let’s face it, they’re no “Ordinary People.” 

Critics worldwide praise Pink for her stage presence, unique sound, No. 1 hits, and longevity in the music industry. The singer is currently flying over audiences during her 2023 tour, the Summer Carnival, and hey, if that’s any indication of the energy she’d bring reality TV lovers, then we are totally here for it. 

In addition to Sam Smith’s one-of-a-kind voice and groundbreaking four studio albums, the artist has also been open about their personal life — detailing specifics regarding their sexuality and body image issues. As much as we love a dramatic reality series like The Real Housewives, we love relating to people who face the same real-life struggles as us. 

Britney Spears undoubtedly faced some of the most challenging years of her life during her 13-year conservatorship. Now that the singer is free, working on new music, and releasing a tell-all memoir, The Woman In Me, a reality show would be the perfect next move. Surely, the pop icon could keep viewers engaged with her two children, stunning husband, and bubbly personality.
