It won't be long before a new Dragon Ball anime starts airing for fans worldwide, and you won't have to wait long to watch it following its premiere. While Crunchyroll will stream Daima in supported countries, Netflix has also joined in on the fun. Dragon Ball Daima will start streaming on Netflix in October just a few days after it streams on Netflix.

Specifically, Daima will start streaming on October 14 in Asia, followed by a global release on October 18, 2024, as revealed by Netflix. That's over a week from its premiere on Crunchyroll. Netflix hasn't revealed if the anime will stream with an English dub, although it is highly likely.

The new series' English dub will make it to the U.S. in theaters on November 10-12 with its first three episodes on the big screen. The show will be the last work of series creator Akira Toriyama, who passed away earlier this year. In Japan, Dragon Ball Daima will debut on Fuji TV, which marks the first time in over six years that a Dragon Ball series will play on TV since the final episode of Dragon Ball Super.

Toei Animation

Dragon Ball Daima is just one of the three dozen anime coming to Crunchyroll this fall, which should make for a good season of entertainment for fans of the medium. Dragon Ball fans have a lot more than the anime to look forward to, which includes DB Sparking! Zero, the new fighting game, a free-to-play Dragon Ball MOBA, and even a jaw-dropping Dragon Ball theme park under construction in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.

Dragon Ball Daima will take the series back to its roots, following a new adventure starring Son Goku and the rest of the cast as they're transformed into kids again.

Dragon Ball Daima will start streaming on Crunchyroll on October 11, 2024, followed by Netflix.
