NEW LOOK: Deadpool and Wolverine Trailer Reveals Sabretooth

Ryan Reynolds just tweeted a new trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine out of nowhere.

OK, it was part of a carefully considered and impeccably scheduled marketing plan that gives room for precisely zero deviations, but still, few saw it coming.

The trailer gives us a tantalizing glimpse at one of the fight scenes. In it, Wolverine prepares to battle an old foe: Sabretooth. The pair last went up against each other in 2000’s X-Men, meaning it’s been 24 years since we’ve seen them scrap.

The same actor reprises his role in Tyler Mane, although there’s a notable absence of the second actor to play Sabretooth, Liev Schreiber. He was cast as the savage mutant in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Maybe he’s lining up to fight Wolverine after the first Sabretooth gets tired.

There are cameos galore, but we probably won't get one from the Deadpool 2 star who blasted Ryan Reynolds on a podcast.

There’s also no shortage of comedy packed into the short trailer. We see Deadpool removing swords from Wolverine’s body in order to get him back in fighting shape, and attempt to give him a pre-battle pep talk, to which Wolverine snarls a curse and shooing Deadpool off-screen.
