RABBIT TRAP Trailer Is the Strangest Folk Horror Clip You’ll Ever See

Dev Patel and folk horror is not a combination we saw coming. But you can go ahead and sign us up for this film for those two reasons alone. The trailer for Rabbit Trap delivers music, mayhem, and creepy stranger horror for a tale that we cannot wait to see soon.

Rabbit Trap is about Daphne (Rosy McEwen), a musician who moves with her husband Darcy (Patel) to a remote house in Wales to finish their new project. That’s red flag number one. Small towns and remote locations are the scariest places on Earth. This is a fact. Anyway, they arrive and get to work. Darcy records some audio samples in the woods that are, well, weird, and apparently what they are doing disrupts some ancient local folk magic.

This leads to a strange person (Jade Croot) popping up at their doorstep. This person begins to insert themselves into this couple’s life, which seems helpful at first but then gets odd. And, as we see in the Rabbit Trap trailer, odd things begin to happen that threaten to tear this couple apart. There’s an ample dose of paranoia as reality and myth blend together.
