Russell Crowe will appear in the film ‘Beast,’ an MMA movie that features a collaboration with ONE Championship.
The film is centred on the character of Patton James, played by Daniel MacPherson, who is an ex-MMA world champion. James retired from the sport to focus on his family obligations. However, Patton’s brother suffered a life-changing injury as a result of an illegal move in a ONE Championship fight.
Patton then undergoes one more fight under the help of his ex-coach Sammy, played by Russell Crowe, to help his brother who is in financial difficulties. The film will come out on April 10, as the film features footage from the ONE Friday Fights event Impact Arena in Bangkok.
