During the 2026 Winter Olympics, U.S. ice dancer Emilea Zingas took a moment to thank Snoop Dogg for his support. She has made her Olympic debut in Milano Cortina, where she, along with her partner, finished sixth in the rhythm dance qualifiers on Feb. 10.
Zingas shared his message on Instagram, writing, “THANK YOU @snoopdogg for the amazing words of encouragement!! We are so proud to have you as our coach Go Team USA!!! @teamusa @olympics.”
Snoop Dogg is serving as an honorary captain for Team USA through NBC Sports. Zingas’s comments came after Dogg’s speech to the athletes, “Y’all made it here, man, and y’all represent the beautiful side of America…when we become a team, when we become a family. So don’t lose focus. Stay in the moment. The moment is here. You waited four years to get here. Please take advantage of it.
“That’s why I’m here to support you. I’m your coach. I love each and every one of you individually. I love what y’all represent. Y’all make us look good.”
Meanwhile, Zingas and her ice dance partner Vadym Kolesnik also confirmed their romantic relationship this Olympic season. The pair has been partners since 2022 and trains in Novi, Michigan, under coach Igor Shpilband.
They recently won the ISU Four Continents Championship in Beijing with a personal best of 202.86 points. They scored 79.97 in rhythm dance and performed well in free dance, helping Team USA take a podium sweep.
So, Zingas has a strong career representing America. Additionally, she has recently won a silver medal at the 2026 U.S. National Championships.
