Stranger Things 5 Volume 1 - erica Netflix

The end has almost arrived. Stranger Things 5, Volume 1 has emerged from the Upside Down into our world. (You can read our spoiler-free review here.) And that means we are one step closer to the finale of Stranger Things, also known as Stranger Things 5, Volume 3, also known as Stranger Things 5, episode 8, “The Rightside Up.” While we still have far to go before we arrive at the grand finale of Stranger Things and we don’t know much about what this final episode will hold, we now know one thing. We know the official runtime for Stranger Things: The Finale.

How Long Will Stranger Things‘ Final Episode Be?

Drumroll, please. The last episode of Stranger Things 5 will have a runtime of 2 hours and 5 minutes. That’s right, you’ll have a movie’s worth of runway to say goodbye to all your favorites. (Should they live that long.) And, if you press play on Stranger Things 5‘s final episode at 9:55 p.m. your time on New Year’s Eve, you’ll be sobbing along to Stranger Things‘ credits just as Vecna’s clock strikes midnight. And who wouldn’t want that?

What Is the Title of Stranger Things‘ Finale Episode?

The final episode of Stranger Things is called “The Rightside Up.” We’ve speculated a little bit that this title could indicate a place that’s the direct inverse of the Upside Down, where everything is just right. (And maybe everyone is still alive and all are happy.) But we’ll see about that.

When Does Stranger Things 5‘s Final Episode Release?
