'Stranger Things' co-creator Ross Duffer teases the first two episodes of season 5

Ross Duffer, who co-created and executive produces Stranger Things with his brother Matt Duffer, is previewing the first two chapters of the show's final season.

"Locked, mixed, scored, colored, DONE," he shared regarding the episodes. "'The Crawl' is our favorite, most eventful first episode since Season 1. 'The Vanishing of…' (yeah yeah you think you know who blah blah) has by far the craziest cold open we’ve ever done. One of the sequences we’re most proud of this season."

He then continued to write that he was told not to reveal runtimes just yet.

The Netflix hit debuted in July 2016 and has earned over 70 awards worldwide, including Emmys and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

Season 5 will premiere with Volume 1 on November 26 at 5 PM PT. Volume 2 will continue the story on December 25 at 5 PM PT. Then, the Finale will drop on December 31 at 5 PM PT.
