Taylor Swift Music Takes Over College Football Game On Saturday Night
Jay Biggerstaff-Imagn

There was no shortage of action on Saturday night during the highly anticipated rivalry game between No. 12 ranked Georgia Bulldogs (8-2) and the No. 7 ranked Tennessee Volunteers (8-2) as both teams came into the matchup looking to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.

It was the Bulldogs who hosted the game at Sanford Stadium, and it comes as no surprise that Georgia fans packed the venue to show their support for their team. The supporters “blacked out” the stadium hoping their team would wear the black uniforms for the night game Between The Hedges.

One particular moment during the hotly-contested game is currently turning heads online, and it involves the Georgia student section. At one point in the contest, supporters decided to tap into their Swiftie side by passionately singing a couple of lines from Taylor Swift's 2014 hit song "Blank Space."

Swift was nearly a thousand miles away in Toronto, Canada on the third night of her "Eras Tour" concert series at Rogers Centre on Saturday night. However, this did not stop the Georgia faithful from creating an awesome Swiftie moment during the second half of action.

In case you missed it, that was college football analyst Josh Pate of CBS who was captured in the latter part of the video. The 54-year-old did not seem too pleased during the moment, but it is unclear if his seeming displeasure had anything to do with the "Black Space" moment.

Ultimately, it was the home crowd who celebrated after the final whistle. This was after the Bulldogs secured a 31-17 win against their rivals. Quarterback Carson Beck led the way for Georgia with a strong performance, finishing with 25-of-40 completed passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns.

This is a nice bounce-back win for the Bulldogs, who were coming off a disappointing 28-10 loss against Ole Miss the previous week. Up next for Georgia is another home game at Sanford Stadium against UMass on Saturday.
