There’s no doubt about it that Leon Thomas has been batting 1.000 on features all year long and he’s continued to collaborate with some of the hottest artists in the game. It was no different when Wale recruited the crooner on his song “Watching Us" from his newest album Everything Is A Lot. The song samples Goapele’s 2001 hit track “Closer,” and it finds Wale and Thomas highlighting the nuances of sharing one’s relationship with the public.

British singer kwn put the world on notice when she teamed up with Kehlani on her hit single “worst behaviour.” On the track, the two trade verses about how they could have fun elsewhere, but they’d rather act up during a romantic rendezvous.

Country singer Morgan Wallen released his fourth album I’m the Problem, which featured the Tate McRae-assisted track “What I Want.” On the song, Wallen gives the perspective of trying to earn a partner’s heart, but McRae plays the potential partner who’s a bit apprehensive of starting something new. “What I Want” helped earn Wallen his fourth No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

“All The Way” by BigXthaPlug and Bailey Zimmerman

Rapper BigXthaPlug decided to take on the country music scene with the release of his third album I Hope You’re Happy. He teamed up with some of the biggest names in country including Jelly Roll, Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, as well as Bailey Zimmerman on his single “All The Way.” On the track, the two give the perspective of a person who wants to rip the bandaid off of a relationship that is no longer serving them.

“It Depends” by Chris Brown feat. Bryson Tiller

For at least half the year, Chris Brown and Bryson Tiller’s hit single “It Depends” has been all over social media thanks to the viral dance challenge. The song samples Usher’s 1997 track “Nice & Slow,” who also appeared on the song’s remix which was released back in October. “It Depends” has earned a few 2026 Grammy Award nominations including Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance.

“Berghain” by Rosalia feat. Björk and Yves Tumor

After a three-year hiatus since her previous album Motomami, Rosalía released her latest album LUX, led by the hit single “Berghain.” Teaming up with Björk and Yves Tumor, Rosalía takes her sound to new heights as she’s accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra, a sound that fans have praised the singer for.

Although Kendrick Lamar released his SZA-assisted collaboration “Luther” back in late 2024 when he dropped his album GNX, the song saw new life after the two performed it at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show back in February. Two months later, Lamar and SZA released the song’s official video. The song is now nominated for several Grammy Awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

Summer Walker had a long list of features on her latest album Finally Over It. However, the one collaboration that instantly stood out is the track “Go Girl” featuring Latto and Doja Cat. The track finds them trading verses about a woman’s confidence, sexuality, and independence.

Taylor Swift teamed up with rising pop star Sabrina Carpenter on her track “The Life of a Showgirl.” In the song, they tell the story of a celebrity named Kitty who’s trying to warn a potential star about the realities of show business. Although the song hasn’t been released as an official single, it reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100.

Alt-pop trio Latin Mafia teamed up with Omar Apollo on their cumbia single “Hecho Para Ti” “(Made For You).” The song highlights the aftermath of dealing with a relationship that didn’t last. The group first teased the single in early July when they brought Apollo out as a surprise guest to perform it at their Palacio de los Deportes show in Mexico City.

Miley Cyrus released her ninth album Something Beautiful, which featured the standout track “Walk of Fame.” Featuring vocals from Alamaba Shakes’ frontwoman Brittany Howard, the song describes how when she struts, it feels like she’s on a walk of fame. Naturally, the video shows Cyrus walking along the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, where the singer is set to be honored with her own star on it in 2026.

As Jelly Roll sings on the second verse, “Memories, they stream down my face / Smiling while I bite through the pain / Guess I'll never know why the good die young, yeah / Looking for somebody to blame.”
