In today's music world, new R&B groups seem to be making a small resurgence, such as artists like Chloe x Halle, The Shindellas, and FLO. However, over three decades ago, fans had many groups they could deem their favorite. But over time, it seemed like groups were becoming a thing of the past. Whether that means record labels weren't too keen on signing them or some groups disbanded, groups became an anomaly.
Thankfully, there are a number of legacy groups who continue to tour the world to give fans the music they always loved. People often debate who was their favorite group, and while their music opinions are subjective, it always makes for great conversation (or argument) for their claimed choice.
