Tiffany Haddish 'disppointed' in Common's public explanation for their breakup

First, the actress, author and stand-up comedian shared that she learned her breakup had been made public when her publicist reached out to her and said People "hit us up about this" and decided not to respond. Haddish was confused as to who leaked the news.

"More than two people in my camp knew that it was over, and I'm sure a bunch of people in his camp knew because I sure was calling like, 'Can y'all get my stuff out his house? Can you send it to my house? Please, thank you. Appreciate it,'" Haddish said.

When asked how she feels about the relationship ending, the Emmy and Grammy winner responded, "I'm fine with it. It's going be new opportunities. I miss him. I miss him from time-to-time. But that's with any relationship, any intimate relationship, you might have, you miss them. But I'm fine with it. It's cool."

And then Haddish really got animated when Lee brought up Common's lackluster explanation that they broke up "because of busy schedules."
"I didn't want to be rude in the interview, but come on now," Lee said. "That doesn't make sense because you're both famous. You're both busy. You both have schedules."

Haddish revealed her reaction was "the same thing everybody was thinking in them comments," which was that Common is the common denominator in his past failed relationships with famous women.

"He might be the type of person that never really settles with somebody," Haddish suggested. "He's like a bee going from flower to flower to flower. I don't know. I wish him nothing but joy and happiness. We will always be cool."

"I was disappointed," she continued, referencing Common's interview with Lee. "I was very disappointed. I was like, 'Oh, OK, 'cause that's not what you told me. But OK!'"
